Returns and exchanges

If you are in any way unhappy with your purchase you can return it within 14 days of purchase. Please complete the returns form enclosed with your purchase and return this with your item(s) with all packaging and tags intact to the address below.


If you would like to exchange your product(s) for an alternative item, please indicate this on the returns form.


Once we have received the product(s) in their original condition including packaging and tags, a refund excluding delivery charges will be credited to the payment card account within 2 weeks. Please note that it may take up to 14 days for your bank to credit your account. We are not liable, and cannot take responsibility for, any bank charges that you may incur during the refund process. We are unable to refund the original delivery charge and the cost of returning the item(s).

Please remember to ask for a proof of posting certificate when returning goods to us as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit to us. Our refund policy does not affect your statutory rights in respect of faulty or damaged goods.

Damaged or faulty items

Most of our smaller products are delivered by Parcel Force. If the package has signs of damage when you receive it, it is important that when the product is signed for, this is noted. If there isn’t then time or the opportunity to check the product itself, you must note on signature slip that the product is ‘received unchecked’.

Please do not return the product to us without first contacting us. You must contact us within three days of delivery receipt if your suspect your product has possible damage in transit. Any claims after 3 days will not be accepted. Photographic evidence of the damage may be required to verify the extent of the damage. In the event of damage The Toy Barn will supply replacement parts, a replacement product or refund.

Our larger items and play equipment are sent by specalist courier. It is very important when you receive your order you check and note if there are any signs of damage. If a ‘claused signature’ is not made and damage is subsequently been found, a late claim will not be accepted. We recommend you ask the delivery driver to wait while you inspect your order so any damage can be reported immediately.
