COMMErCIAL FRAMES

Our frames are perfect for outdoor play, in parks or schools, hospitals or community spaces, pubs or hotels.

We have been installing commercial climbing frames in our local area for two decades now. We are a small, dedicated, experienced team that work closely with our suppliers. We take a personal interest in each project however large or small.

Our range of frames can be seen here, or alternatively you can use the enquiry form below to contact us.

Play Spaces

We work predominately with timber frames creating imaginative play areas. We are always trying to think outside of the box, giving you alternatives.

Every space and every child is different. Whether you are a pub creating a safe environment to keep families entertained or a village looking for children’s activities for all ages, our frames are designed, built and installed with you to ensure that both the business and the end users needs are met.

schools

Maybe you are a PTA member or a school with specific needs, we are here to help you sort through all the possibilities.

From imaginative role play to physical activities, we will talk you through the costs and alternatives. We can discuss the advantages of different safety surfaces.

Every school requires its own design for its own play area. With different age groups, different abilities and different requirements, often a multipurpose unit needs to be considered and we are able to help you with these challenges.

We bring our own individuality to these issues and allow you to make informed decisions.

TRIM TRAILS

Some spaces call for a different take on play when climbing frames are not needed. We also install Trim Trails that encourage movement, balance, adventure and fun.

Trim trails can be very effective and quite cost affective. They are tough and may have been overlooked as a piece of play equipment.

We can combine trail elements with climbing frames too, which really enhances the play aspect of the main structure.

SURFACING

Installed alongside our frames, or simply as a resurfacing process, we are able to provide a number of safety surfacings.

From commercial grade play bark, grow through grass mats, rubber wet pour to bonded mulch, we work with trusted suppliers to make your project stand out.

Safety surfacing and its design can add a whole new experience to a play area. It can enhance the style and look of the project whilst making play cleaner in wet conditions and making sure that safety is at the heart of the play.

1. The Design

Firstly, contact the Team at The Toy Barn via our contact form. From here we can assess the scope of your project and assign the best team. Our initial visit is free. During our visit, we will discuss your requirements and show you some of the products available. We can help with the initial design process, planning and visualising of your play space. We will also take a simple survey of the site. We will come back to you within 7 working days to see if you have had any other ideas to incorporate then we will send you quotation for you to consider. If there are any alterations to make, then we can certainly do this too.

2. Build

We work with two suppliers of high-quality timber frames. We will instruct them on design and organise production of your project. Delivery will be included in the pricing. Top quality timber products that are fully tanalised are used for these projects. All playground equipment meet the current European standard for safety EN1176. All timber products are under guarantee with the manufacturer for 15 years.

3. Installation

Once delivered, our team in conjunction with the manufacturers team will remove any unwanted items. We will prepare the site and mark out the location of all the equipment to make sure that you are happy with the placement. All health and safety paperwork will be provided, and all safety measures will be in place. Once the project if completed, we will have the installation signed off with yourselves. We always recommend that schools or play area co-ordinators arrange to have the new equipment checked by ROSPA who are the leading playground inspectors in the country. Any failings in the installation raised by this inspection from ROSPA will be corrected by us at our cost.
