Orchard Play is the range of outdoor play equipment that are designed and built by our team at The Toy Barn. These frames are designed to have minimal parts, a simple construction without cutting back on the play potential.
Single Swing

Made-to-order in our workshop here at Blackmarsh Farm, all Orchard Play swing frames are built using 100mm diameter round radiata treated pine with a 5-year guarantee against rot.
We use heavy duty metal swing through bolts, metal right angled swing brackets and stainless-steel bolts which assures longevity of our swing frames.
Assembly is easy, requiring only 4 bolts to fix the legs into the top beam but two adults are required for the installation due to the size and weight of the swing frame.
Our single swing frame is taller than your average swing frame, which ensures that the pendulum of the swing is elongated and therefore makes the swinging more fun! The swing frame will also take the weight of an adult which makes it the perfect piece of equipment for the whole family.
We have a great selection of swing seats available such as baby/ toddler seats, plastic or timber board seats, nest swings and duo seats. These are sold separately.
We recommend using Terralock ground anchors to secure your seeing frame rather digging holes and cementing the legs into the ground. The advantage is that it is quick, easy and efficient and also you can move the swing as necessary. The ground anchors are also sold separately.
A full set of instructions will be supplied if you decide to install the swing frame yourself. But we do offer an installation service if you would prefer.

Orchard Fort

The Orchard Fort is one of the most popular pieces of equipment in our Play Area. So come for a visit and let the children test it out before you buy!
The Orchard Ford is a compact, well-built climbing frame and is a brilliant addition to any size garden. The unit is supplied flat-packed and instructions for self-assembly will be provided but we also offer an installation service if you prefer not to DIY it!
The timber used for this frame is 5th EU Redwood fully treated timbers and there is a 5-year guarantee on all the timber against rot.
The Orchard Fort is comprised of a tower with a footprint of 1.25m x 1.25m and a deck height of 1.4m. The deck is covered with a slanted timber roof and is accessed by a timber ladder. The deck is enclosed with timber castellations for that Fort effect and to spark your children’s imaginative play. The KBT green 3m wavy slide provides the perfect exit point for your children. There is a climbing wall with 7 heavy-duty climbing stones. And on the other side of the tower, a double swing arm to accommodate 2 swing seats of your choice.

Castle

Made to order, this Castle is sure to ignite the imaginations of your children.
Inside the imposing crenelated walls is an internal platform reached by external and internal wall mounted steps. There are three arched doors, arrow slit windows, internal hanging poles and a flag pole.

Fort

The Fort is a more compact version of the Castle but just as much fun! As with all All Out Play structures, the Fort is made-to-order.
Inside the crenelated walls is an internal platform reached by external and internal wall mounted steps. There are three arched doors, arrow slit windows, internal hanging poles and a flag pole.

The All Out Play Climbing Centre is one of the most popular Adventure Play items as it has so much to do!
We have this structure in our Orchard Play Area, so come along to try-before-you-buy!
An irregular hexagonal structure with three long panels and three shorter. It comes with a terrific extended climbing wall over three panels and going around corners providing quite a challenge.
Also included are a large scramble net, a firepole and 3m green wave slide.
There is a floor which allows the lower area to be used for a variety of purposes and settings.

Climbing Centre & Gate House

For even more fun and play value, we have combined a climbing centre and a gatehouse linked by a bridge.
We have this structure in our Orchard Play Area, so come for a visit and let the children test it out before you buy!
The Gatehouse has a 1.5m platform and underneath there is a solid wooden floor so it can be used as a den. It also has 3 sets of arrow slit aperture windows. The 3 meter slide come off one of the long sides.
Then the Gatehouse is linked by a solid wooden bridge to the Climbing Centre.
